Hello folks! Did I ever show you this badge art I did for C2E2? Well, here is Tark eating a Chicago Dog!
I'm sorry I haven't had much to share since Chapter 3 ended. I've been off at VanCAF, getting sick again, and trying frantically to catch up on my paying work. Oh, and finalizing my plans for Chapter 4!;)
I'm really looking forward to getting the first page up next week, so keep your eyes peeled!
Also, a huge thanks to everyone that came out and saw me at VanCAF this year! It never fails to warm my heart when someone takes time out of their day to come by my table at a show and say hi in person. Seriously! I've probably said this before, but it often feels like I create my work in a vacuum, and hearing from actual humans that they like my work is very encouraging.X3 Plus, I like seeing your faces! You're all so friendly!
One of the things I've been up to is drawing on bookplates for a Kickstarter I was involved with! I was asked to adapt a story for the Cautionary Fables and Fairytales Asia Edition. I grew up with my dad reading my brother and me fables and fairtales from around the world, so it was pretty exciting to adapt one for this collection. I chose an Indian fable entitled THE GIRL WHO MARRIED A TIGER. I drew in 18 different bookplates, but this drawing of my main character ended up being my favorite:
Anyhow, Chapter 4 starts next Tuesday, so I'll see you all then! Thanks so much for your patience and support! <3
